1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is COMNEX LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17540341), registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact: support@comnex.co.uk (subject "Privacy request").

2. What we collect

• Emails you send us. If you write to support@comnex.co.uk or admin@comnex.co.uk, we receive your email address, name (if given) and the content of your message.
• Technical data. Our hosting and network provider, Cloudflare, processes basic request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and has no accounts, forms or payments.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

• To reply to your enquiry and keep a record of our correspondence — legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• To keep the website secure and available — legitimate interests.
• To meet legal, tax or regulatory obligations — legal obligation.

4. Who we share it with

• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, security and email routing for our comnex.co.uk addresses.
• Google LLC — email hosting for the mailbox that receives forwarded messages.
• Professional advisers or authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider participates) or the International Data Transfer Addendum approved under UK law.

6. How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for up to 6 years afterwards where it relates to a contract, a complaint or a legal claim. Technical request data is kept by Cloudflare for a short period in line with its own policies.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. Email support@comnex.co.uk; we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
